The ongoing FEC meeting, which began on Monday, May 13, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, was extended to Tuesday to conclude deliberations on various important matters.

Minister Idris had informed journalists about the extension of the meeting on Monday, stating that significant decisions were being made and the outcomes would be communicated afterward.

He said, “The council meeting will continue tomorrow, therefore, there will be no press briefing today. A lot of far-reaching decisions are being taken, and the conclusions will be made available to you tomorrow.”
