Recently, a user on the X platform, LawyerDayo, proposed the idea of major corporations in Nigeria acquiring league clubs as part of their CSR efforts. This suggestion prompted Tony Elumelu to engage on the platform, revealing that the Federal Government, through Sports Minister Senator John Enoh, has discussed a similar concept with him. Elumelu disclosed that they are currently exploring the feasibility of such an initiative.
