Nigerians React As Tribunal-Upholds Hope Uzodimma’s Election As Imo State Governor (Details)
The Imo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal on Friday upheld the election of Hope Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Imo State governor. In a unanimous decision delivered by Justice Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay, the three-man panel concluded that Uzodimma’s election complied substantially with the provisions of the Electoral Act. The tribunal further stated that the Labour Party failed to prove allegations of over-voting and non-compliance with the Electoral Act.
