In an interview on the ‘Bahd & Boujee’ podcast, Seun asserted, “Monogamy doesn’t work. As a powerful man, you must have the support of numerous powerful goddesses. You know, women that are in your life because the ancestors want to put them there. You share with them.”

Drawing from his family history, Seun pointed out that his late father and Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, had over 100 concubines despite marrying 27 women in one day. He sees this as an example of embracing polygamy as a sign of power and influence.

His advocacy for polygamy challenges conventional notions of monogamy, prompting discussions on cultural norms and personal choices in relationships.
