Governor Fubara Urges PDP Members: “Don’t Let Our Party Die
Rivers State Governor, Siminilayi Fubara, has issued a heartfelt plea to members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), urging them to unite and secure the party’s future. Speaking during a recent meeting with the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) at the Government House in Port Harcourt, Fubara emphasized the critical need for unity and solidarity within the party.
In his address, Governor Fubara acknowledged the internal challenges currently facing the PDP, including rumors questioning his loyalty to the party. However, he reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the PDP’s principles and objectives.
“We, the true members of the PDP, have a duty to ensure that this party does not fall apart,” Fubara asserted. “It’s our collective responsibility to protect and strengthen the PDP, particularly here in Rivers State.”
Governor Fubara’s call to action was clear: PDP members must set aside their differences and focus on the common goal of revitalizing and preserving the party. His leadership in addressing the ongoing issues within the PDP in Rivers State has demonstrated his dedication to the party’s success.
As the PDP navigates these challenging times, maintaining the unity and cohesion seen in Rivers State is crucial. The party must continue to strengthen its internal processes and ensure that all members are treated with fairness and justice, paving the way for a stronger, more resilient future.
