Heartwarming Gesture: Katsina Police Commissioner Gifts ₦27 Million To Families Of Fallen HeroesKatsina State Police Commissioner, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, has presented a cheque of nearly ₦27.5 million to the families of police officers who tragically lost their lives while serving in the line of duty. This financial support was provided to a total of 36 families during a ceremony dedicated to assisting those in mourning.

In a statement issued on Friday, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, the spokesperson for the Katsina State Police Command, noted that this initiative is part of several insurance schemes, including the Group Life Insurance, Group Personal Accident, and the Inspector General of Police Family Welfare Insurance Schemes.

During the cheque presentation, Commissioner Musa expressed his gratitude to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun for his generosity towards the bereaved families. He stressed the importance of using the funds judiciously to fulfill the purpose of providing support to the families of the fallen officers.

Musa also offered prayers for the souls of the deceased officers, recognizing the ultimate sacrifice they made for the nation.

One of the beneficiaries, Najib Ibrahim, expressed gratitude on behalf of the families. He thanked the Inspector General of Police for the financial assistance and committed to utilizing the funds effectively to enhance their lives. Ibrahim also prayed for wisdom and guidance for the leadership of the police command and the entire Force.
