Breaking: Zamfara Govt Vows To Care For Families Of Guards Killed In Devastating AttackGovernor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has assured that his administration will fully support the families of the Community Protection Guards (CPG) members who were killed in a recent ambush by bandits.
During a condolence visit to the Tsafe Emir’s palace, Governor Lawal extended his sympathies to the families of the nine brave CPG members, acknowledging their ultimate sacrifice. He emphasized that their deaths would not be in vain and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continuing the fight against banditry in the state.
“I am here to offer my condolences to the emirate, the people, and the families of our heroic guards. Their courage in defending their communities will always be remembered,” the governor stated, pledging that the Zamfara government will take full responsibility for the welfare of the bereaved families. He also announced financial aid and food donations to support the victims’ loved ones, promising ongoing efforts to eradicate banditry in Zamfara.
