Fayose Denies Suspension From PDP ‘I’m Worried By Party Drama’

A former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has stated that he is unaware of any suspension from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Fayose remarked, “I am not aware of the suspension, but such matters no longer concern me. The current situation in our party has trivialized the idea of suspension and counter-suspension, particularly at the leadership level. Sadly, these events have brought the party to a new low, leading to significant and avoidable embarrassment. I have made substantial contributions to the party, defending it vigorously. I was the sole voice against the maladministration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“At this point, we are taking a back seat and acting in an advisory capacity. Frankly, I don’t care about rumored suspensions. The days of worrying about these issues are behind me. What do I need the party for? To be honest, where is the party now? I commend a few of our governors for their commendable management of their states.

“Can we honestly say that the party is in good shape? How can anyone be discussing suspension? We should simply disregard that.”
