Gunshots have been heard, and multiple individuals have lost their lives in what is suspected to be a targeted spree by the Vikings cult group.

According to Ireporter reports, at least one person was reportedly killed near Osariemien Street, while another was shot near the BB Bite area in Upper Sakponba. Disturbingly, it appears that the Vikings may be indiscriminately targeting individuals, with one of the deceased confirmed as a non-cultist and another identified as a Maphite member, reportedly uninvolved in the ongoing Upper Sakponba cult conflicts.

These latest killings underscore the pervasive insecurity in parts of Edo State, where even uninvolved citizens are increasingly at risk. Witnesses fear the cycle of retaliation and violence may continue as communities remain on edge, calling for urgent intervention from local authorities to restore peace and protect residents from further harm.
