“We applaud President Bola Tinubu’s decision to order the immediate release of minors arrested during the #EndBadGovernance protests,” Frank stated, acknowledging the President’s response to concerns raised by Nigerians and the international community over the treatment of protesters, especially minors.

Frank also called for accountability within the intelligence community, urging the President to investigate the prolonged detention of minors without adequate oversight and consider replacing intelligence chiefs who neglected to report the issue.

He further demanded that the President’s investigation begin with Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun and the Commissioners of Police in Kano and Kaduna, responsible for the arrests.

“This probe must not be brushed aside. We will monitor to ensure findings are disclosed and that responsible officers face appropriate sanctions,” Frank asserted.

For justice and rehabilitation, Frank proposed financial aid for the minors’ families, scholarships, enrollment in reputable boarding schools, and access to professional counseling to address any trauma.

“By taking these actions, we can begin to heal past wounds and build a more just and compassionate society for all Nigerians,” he concluded.
