This information was revealed by NAF spokesperson Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa on Tuesday. In a statement, Akinboyewa explained that the NAF carried out a series of air interdictions aimed at three key ISWAP strongholds in Marte on October 31.

He noted that the precise strikes targeted ISWAP positions in Tumbun Daribiyar, Jubularam, Buluwa, and Tumbu Karfe, representing a significant advance in the ongoing battle against terrorism in Nigeria’s Northeast.

An assessment conducted on the ground confirmed the neutralization of around 50 terrorists, including the high-ranking commander, Bashir Dauda. Furthermore, the operation destroyed the ISWAP supply depot in Jubularam, which contained a large cache of food items such as beans, millet, and rice, thus disrupting a vital resource line for the terrorist group.
