In his Christmas message to Nigerians, Olukoyede highlighted that the President’s strong political will has directly contributed to the EFCC’s accomplishments over the past 18 months.

He emphasized that the principles of light, joy, hope, truth, and freedom brought into the world by Christ are central to fostering a strong stance against corruption and promoting reform.

Olukoyede expressed his optimism for a more prosperous Nigeria that is free from economic crimes and corruption. He stated, “I firmly believe in our nation’s potential for growth and development. The Christmas season offers us a chance to realize these possibilities. The values of light, joy, hope, truth, and liberty introduced by Christ are vital pathways to integrity and a firm commitment to eradicating corruption. By embracing these values, we have the capability to make Nigeria greater.”

He noted, “Nigerians can clearly see that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is dedicated to combating corruption. The progress made by the EFCC would not have been feasible without his unwavering support and bravery, for which we are always grateful.”

Olukoyede also acknowledged the Judiciary, commending the professionalism, commitment, integrity, and courage of judges and justices that greatly strengthen the EFCC’s anti-corruption efforts. He urged the judiciary to maintain its dedication to justice and fairness.

Additionally, he expressed gratitude to media outlets, civil society groups, and other stakeholders for their active engagement with the commission, assuring that with their collaboration, even greater achievements can be expected in the upcoming year.
