In a holiday message delivered by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media, Olalere Olayinka, Wike extended his condolences to the families affected by the recent stampede, while reinforcing the importance of following God’s commandments.

“I congratulate all residents of the Federal Capital Territory on the blessing of celebrating another Christmas. I pray that the Almighty grants us many more celebrations in good health,” he stated.

Wike emphasized that Christians should remain faithful to God’s commandments as exemplified by Jesus Christ, who made it clear that true followers must obey and uphold God’s laws.

He also shared his sympathies with the families of the stampede victims, praying for their strength to endure this immense loss.

Additionally, Wike encouraged residents to remain optimistic, asserting that “With President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, we can expect continued improvements.”
