which took place at the police headquarters in Asaba, was led by the Commissioner of Police for Delta State, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, on behalf of the IG.

Addressing the officers, Egbetokun emphasized the importance of hard work in law enforcement, urging the newly promoted officers to continue their efforts and rise to the challenges of their elevated roles. “The reward for hard work is more responsibility. Keep striving to meet the high expectations set by the Inspector-General and the public,” he said.

The decorated officers included DCP Ado Ibrahim, ACP Sadiq M. Mana, and ACP Maiyaki Joyce Mathew, among others, who were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the force. Several officers also received promotions to Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent ranks.

The celebration not only honoured individual achievements but underscored the police’s commitment to fostering professionalism and public service excellence in Delta State.
