Mysterious Deaths Spark Panic In Ondo As Three Headless Bodies Are Found

Fear has gripped residents of Ore and Odigbo communities in Ondo State following the discovery of three headless corpses floating in a river within Odigbo Local Government Area………READ MORE 

The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the incident, revealing that the bodies were likely not from the state. According to police spokesperson Olayinka Alayande, the corpses were found on Sunday and reported to the Ore Police Division.

“The DPO dispatched detectives and summoned local leaders for help in identifying the bodies, but no one has come forward,” Alayande stated. He added that the corpses may have been dumped in the river from another location.

The disturbing condition of the bodies has raised suspicions of ritual killings.

A local youth leader, Shileola, expressed shock, saying there had been no recent reports of missing persons in the area, fueling speculation that the victims were killed elsewhere.

Investigations are ongoing.
