Exclusive: Ganduje Unveils APC’s Anambra Warrior For 2025 Election Battle

This followed the ratification of the primary election results by the APC National Working Committee (NWC).

At a ceremony held on Wednesday at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, Ganduje commended the Primary Election Committee, led by Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu, for conducting a credible and transparent process.

According to the committee’s report, Ukachukwu clinched victory with 1,455 votes. His closest rival, Valentine Ozigbo, secured 67 votes, while Edozie Madu and Johnbosco Onunkwo received 8 and 26 votes respectively.

Ganduje urged all APC members and aspirants to unite and support Ukachukwu in ensuring victory for the party in the November 8 governorship election.

In a related development, Labour Party (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, speaking during the LP’s National Executive Council meeting in Abuja, vowed that the party would ensure credible candidates emerge for the 2027 general elections.

“We must correct the mistakes of the past and build a party of ideology and justice,” Obi said. “We want people who truly represent the values of the Labour Party at all levels of governance.”
