Dollar Climbs to ₦1,625 in Black Market as Naira Faces Fresh Pressure
Wondering what the dollar-to-naira rate is on the parallel market (popularly known as Aboki FX)? Here’s the current rate for Saturday, May 17, 2025.
At the Lagos black market (parallel market), the U.S. dollar is being bought at ₦1,620 and sold at ₦1,625, according to sources within the Bureau De Change (BDC) network.
Note: The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market. For official foreign exchange transactions, individuals are advised to approach their respective banks.
