“A New Dawn In APC: Senator Norah Daduut Celebrates Nentawe Yilwatda’s Resounding Victory”
Senator Nora Ladi Daduut has extended heartfelt congratulations to Professor Nentawe Yilwatda on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing his election as a significant step towards revitalizing the party.
In a statement made in Jos and cited by IReporter Online, Senator Daduut, who served in the 9th National Assembly representing Plateau South, expressed strong optimism in Professor Yilwatda’s capacity to unite party members and galvanize nationwide support to propel the APC to greater political victories.
“This is a clear testimony that our party’s National Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the broader leadership structure have immense confidence in Professor Yilwatda’s competence to lead the APC to new heights,” she said.
Currently serving as the Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Akure, Daduut praised Yilwatda’s visionary mindset, integrity, and capacity to instill renewed unity within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
She urged the newly constituted National Working Committee (NWC), under Yilwatda’s leadership, to work collectively towards reshaping the party, consolidating achievements, and re-establishing strong grassroots presence.
Daduut described Professor Yilwatda as a seasoned academic and strategic thinker whose leadership would bring about a transformative agenda for the APC.
She added, “With his sterling credentials and deep understanding of governance, I am certain he will guide the party to unprecedented success.”
According to IReporter Online, Senator Daduut emphasized that the APC, under Yilwatda’s leadership, would witness revitalized structures, sharpened political direction, and an energized base—all critical to reinforcing the gains of President Tinubu’s administration.
She concluded by commending the APC’s leadership for facilitating a smooth and democratic transition, which, according to IReporter Online, reflects the party’s enduring commitment to internal democracy, accountability, and excellence.
