Governor Monday Okpebholo’s Eight-Year Mandate Is Non-Negotiable — Hon. Charity Amayanvbo

The Edo State Commissioner for Youth, Honourable Charity Amayanvbo, has stated clearly that the eight-year leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo is non-negotiable.

Speaking in Benin City during a courtesy visit by Comrade Kelly Okungbowa, popularly known as Ebo Stone and founder of the Youth for Youth movement, Hon. Amayanvbo said that the Binis and the entire Edo youth population are fully behind the Governor.

He praised Governor Okpebholo for restoring the dignity and rights of the Benin Traditional Council and for showing great respect to the revered Oba of Benin Kingdom. According to the Commissioner, the Governor’s leadership style and performance have rekindled hope and brought unity among Edo people.

Hon. Amayanvbo went on to describe Governor Okpebholo’s achievements, especially in Edo South, as unprecedented. He said that the Governor has done what former Governor Godwin Obaseki — a Benin man — could not do.

He listed some of the Governor’s major achievements, including the Ramat Park Flyover, the Second Flyover at Adesuwa Road in Benin City, and the massive road rehabilitation projects going on across Edo State. He also commended the Governor for restoring the authority of the Benin Traditional Council and respecting the cultural heritage of the Edo people.

The Commissioner further applauded Governor Okpebholo’s recent call on the Edo State House of Assembly to investigate the Emowa projects, describing the move as bold, transparent, and a clear demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to accountability and good governance.

In his words:
“Governor Monday Okpebholo has restored the confidence of the people in government. He has brought back dignity to our traditional institutions and rekindled the hope of Edo youths. His eight years in office are non-negotiable.”

Hon. Amayanvbo therefore called on all Edo youths to rally around the Governor and continue to support his developmental vision for a greater Edo State.

In his remarks, Comrade Kelly Okungbowa (Ebo Stone) expressed his deep appreciation to the Commissioner for his fatherly and inclusive leadership, describing him as ‘a father to all.’

He pledged to work closely with Hon. Charity Amayanvbo in mobilizing Edo youths to deliver the 2.5 million-vote bloc in support of both Governor Monday Okpebholo and President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He assured that the Youth for Youth movement would stand firmly by the Governor to ensure the success of his non-negotiable mandate.
