Who Do You Think You Are? Nkechi Blessing Slams Paid Actors For Ignoring Her Movies

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has expressed frustration with actors who fail to promote films despite receiving substantial fees for their roles.

Speaking on Instagram, Nkechi Blessing addressed colleagues who demand high payments for starring in her movies but do not support the projects once released. She emphasized that while she respects actors charging their worth, issues arise when they behave as though their work was unpaid, neglecting to share or promote the films on their platforms.

The actress warned that such behavior could escalate into serious disputes. She stated that she expects actors to contribute to a film’s visibility after being compensated, noting that neglecting this responsibility is unacceptable.

In her post, Nkechi Blessing wrote: “I am not saying you should not charge your worth, but the problem arises when the film comes out and you act as if you worked for free. Refusing to post the movie for your fans creates conflict, and it could escalate to legal matters. You cannot be paid handsomely and fail to promote the project—who do you even think you are?”
