A United States Navy sailor has been injured aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln during flight operations in the Arabian Sea, military authorities have confirmed. The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday while the vessel was engaged in routine air operations in the region.

According to Ireporter Online, the injury sustained by the sailor was not related to combat activities, and officials described the condition as non-life-threatening. The affected personnel was swiftly evacuated from the carrier and transferred to a shore-based medical facility for further treatment.

In a statement, United States Naval Forces Central Command confirmed that the sailor was injured during flight operations on March 25, noting that the situation was not critical. The command further disclosed that the individual remains in stable condition and is currently receiving additional medical care.

Authorities also stated that an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Despite the development, officials emphasized that operations have continued uninterrupted, with the carrier strike group still carrying out missions in support of Operation Epic Fury.
