Priscilla Ojo Raises Alarm Over Plot To Sabotage Iyabo Ojo’s New Movie
Priscilla Ojo has publicly defended her mother, Iyabo Ojo, amid ongoing controversies surrounding the actress and her latest projects. In a post shared via Instagram on Thursday, Priscilla alleged that there appears to be a deliberate pattern aimed at undermining her mother’s efforts, particularly in relation to her upcoming film, The Return of Arinzo. Despite the challenges, she expressed strong confidence that the project would succeed, emphasizing faith and public support.
According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, Priscilla stated that her mother is frequently misunderstood and unfairly blamed, noting that her words are often misinterpreted whether she chooses to speak or remain silent. She maintained that such reactions have contributed to the recurring criticisms directed at the actress.
Priscilla further reassured Iyabo of unwavering support from both her family and fans, encouraging her to remain authentic and steadfast. She highlighted the large turnout at the film’s premiere as evidence of the goodwill and admiration Iyabo enjoys within the industry and among the public, insisting that such backing reflects her positive character and consistent support for others.
Meanwhile, industry observers also noted a tense moment at the movie’s premiere involving Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, which sparked conversations online after a viral clip suggested an apparent snub. Iyabo later addressed the situation, urging critics to refrain from name-calling and revealing that she had previously intervened in efforts to reconcile both parties. She, however, made it clear that she would no longer mediate and appealed for respect regarding her personal boundaries.
