According to Ireporter Online, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has delisted 23 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres and issued warnings to 89 others following a performance review conducted after the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The board disclosed this on Friday, April 10, 2026, in a statement released by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, noting that the mock examination was used not only for candidate familiarisation but also to assess the technical and operational readiness of accredited centres nationwide. JAMB explained that the exercise revealed significant shortcomings in several centres, prompting the removal of those that failed to meet required standards, while others were cautioned to make urgent improvements ahead of the main UTME. The board reaffirmed that the decision was part of its commitment to maintaining a credible and seamless examination process across the country.
