APC Appoints Uba Sani As Ekiti Guber Campaign Council Chairman

The All Progressives Congress has appointed Uba Sani as Chairman of its Ekiti State Governorship Election Campaign Council, as part of efforts to strengthen its preparations ahead of the forthcoming poll.

According to Ireporter Online, the appointment was formally communicated in a letter dated April 24, 2026, and signed by the party’s National Secretary, Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru. The party noted that the decision underscores its confidence in Sani’s leadership qualities, political experience, and commitment to advancing the party’s electoral prospects in the state.

The correspondence highlighted that the Kaduna State governor’s selection was in recognition of his track record and dedication to party success, particularly in what it described as a crucial election. He was also invited to attend the official flag-off of the Ekiti governorship campaign scheduled for Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti.
