Wike Threatens To Seal Any Building Used As PDP Headquarters By Turaki Faction
According to Ireporter Online, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has issued a strong warning that any property in Abuja used as the headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the faction led by Taminu Turaki will be sealed off by the authorities.
Wike also cautioned that any financial institution that permits the Turaki-led PDP faction to open an account for the sale of nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections would face sanctions.
The Minister made the remarks on Wednesday while responding to questions from journalists during his monthly media briefing, where he reiterated his stance on what he described as unauthorised party activities within the FCT.
He stated that no bank would be spared if it facilitates such transactions, adding that any building used as a factional PDP secretariat in Abuja would be shut down.
