Bisola Aiyeola Opens Up On Losing Her Daughter’s Father In 2018, Shares Emotional Story

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress and former Big Brother Naija star, Bisola Aiyeola, has opened up on the painful loss of her daughter Leyla’s father in 2018, describing the experience as one of the most heartbreaking moments of her life.

Speaking during an interview on Ife Agoro’s show, Bisola recounted that the deceased had been on admission in the hospital due to illness, and there had been strong hope of recovery after doctors scheduled his discharge. She revealed that she had spoken with him shortly before his passing, during which he sounded better and confirmed plans to leave the hospital on a Friday.

However, she said the family was later thrown into shock after she received a call from the hospital phone informing her that he had passed away. The actress explained that the news devastated her, her mother, and her sister, adding that her daughter, Leyla, who was eight years old at the time, was deeply affected by the loss.

Bisola further noted that despite their separation, the deceased remained actively involved in their daughter’s life and regularly checked on her wellbeing. She described breaking the news to Leyla as one of the most difficult conversations she has ever had.

“He was sick and had been on admission in the hospital. We even spoke on the phone and he sounded better and said he would be discharged on Friday. Later, someone called me from the hospital using his phone and said he was no more,” she was quoted as saying.
