Seinde Signature Unveils Stylish New Senbar In Ikoyi
According to Ireporter Online, Seinde Signature, a Nigerian niche fragrance retailer, has expanded its presence in the luxury lifestyle market with the launch of a new immersive fragrance experience store in Ikoyi, Lagos. The new outlet, branded Senbar, was officially unveiled on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Ikoyi Plaza, located on the sixth floor of the upscale complex.
The Lagos Senbar introduces an experiential retail model that merges perfumery with hospitality, combining a premium fragrance showroom with a drinks bar and social lounge. The concept, which already has a presence in Abuja, represents the brand’s second Senbar location and reflects its growing shift toward experience-driven retail.
Unlike conventional perfume stores, the Lagos outlet is designed as a multi-sensory environment where visitors can explore fragrances alongside curated drinks and leisure activities. Speaking at the launch, the General Manager of Seinde Signature, Oreoluwa Olusola, explained that the store was created to enhance customer engagement through a blend of scent, taste, and social interaction. She noted that custom cocktails have been developed to align with specific fragrance profiles, allowing customers to experience perfumes in a more immersive way.
The founder of the brand, Olufemi Olaseinde Olusola, described the initiative as a deliberate move away from traditional retail models, emphasizing experience over direct sales pressure. He stated that the concept allows visitors to relax, socialize, and interact with fragrances naturally, adding that customers often return after forming emotional connections with scents experienced in the space. According to him, the store is intentionally designed to remove purchase pressure, enabling guests to enjoy the environment even without making immediate purchases.
A key feature of the Senbar experience is its “scent-to-taste” innovation, where fragrances are paired with specially crafted cocktails and mocktails inspired by their scent notes. Mixology consultant Lola Marcus, who collaborated on the project, explained that each drink was developed to mirror the structure of selected perfumes, creating a unified sensory journey that connects smell, taste, and emotion.
Olusola also revealed that Seinde Signature has expanded its strategy through partnerships with lifestyle and fitness brands such as iFitness, positioning some outlets within gym environments to reach high-value consumers. He noted that even a small conversion rate within such premium spaces represents a significant opportunity for the brand’s growth.
