Jude Chukwuka Urges Electoral Vigilance, Unveils New EP

According to Ireporter Online, veteran Nollywood actor Jude Chukwuka has called on Nigerians to be more vigilant during elections, urging citizens to actively safeguard their votes from the polling units through to the final collation stage. The actor made the appeal during a recent television programme where he discussed civic responsibility, the political landscape, and his increasing interest in music.

Chukwuka encouraged Nigerians to show courage and determination in the electoral process, stressing that voters must remain committed until their ballots are fully accounted for. He likened the resolve required to protect one’s vote to having the “heart of a lion,” urging citizens to follow their votes from polling units to collation centres, adding that the outcome of elections has a direct impact on their lives.

He further noted that the level of desperation often displayed by politicians during election periods should serve as a wake-up call for citizens on the importance of leadership selection. According to him, “Nigeria is above all,” pointing out that significant sums are often spent by politicians to secure political party nomination forms.
