Full List: APC Publishes Names Of Disqualified House Of Representatives Aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of House of Representatives aspirants who were disqualified from participating in its National Assembly primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Ireporter Online, the list released on Saturday cut across several states, including Ondo, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Kogi, and Rivers, following the party’s screening exercise conducted by designated committees in line with its approved guidelines and procedures for the primaries.

In Ondo State, multiple aspirants were affected by the decision, including Adefisoye Tajudeen of Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Olusegun Victor Ategbole and Seun Oluwashina Ajongbolo of Akoko South-East/South-West, as well as Arowole Ayodeji Samuel of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency. Others from the state include Morufu Tosin Ibrahim, Oseni Oyeniyi, and Olaleye John Adedipe, all from Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency.

In Bauchi State, Bashir Ibrahim Bello of Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency was also among those not cleared to contest.

Similarly, the party disqualified Idu Igariwe of Afikpo/Edda Federal Constituency in Ebonyi State, alongside Sanni Salau Ogembe of Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency in Kogi State.

In Rivers State, those affected include retired Air Commodore John Azubuike Opara of Port Harcourt Federal Constituency, Anderson Allison Igbiki of Okrika/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency, Awaji Imombek Abirite of Andoni/Opobo-Nkoro Federal Constituency, and Boma Goodhead of Asari-Toru/Akuku-Toru Federal Constituency.

The APC did not disclose the specific reasons behind the disqualification of the affected aspirants following the screening exercise.
