According to Ireporter Online, Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has approved a ₦20,000 Eid-el-Kabir goodwill package for civil servants across the state as part of efforts to ease the financial burden of the festive season.

The intervention, which applies to workers in the state civil service and those in the 44 local government areas, is targeted at employees on Grade Levels 01 to 14 across ministries, departments, agencies, and local councils.

The approval was disclosed in a statement released in Kano on Tuesday by the Press Secretary to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Musa Tanko-Muhammad.

The statement noted that the initiative was introduced to support workers ahead of the Eid al-Kabir celebration, especially in light of prevailing economic challenges and seasonal financial demands.
