Nollywood Actor Opens Up On How He Was Paid To Stage A Fake Miracle

Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has revealed that he was once paid to participate in what he described as a staged healing miracle before becoming popular in the Nigerian film industry.

According to Ireporter Online, Solade disclosed that he accepted the role while he was still a student and relatively unknown, pretending to be a person with a physical disability during the purported miracle.

The actor made the revelation during an interview with Feel Right News TV, where he recalled being approached and offered money to take part in the incident.

Solade said he agreed to the arrangement and later spent the money he received on alcohol.

“I have been used for a miracle when I was not popular. I acted as a cripple; they paid me, and I used the money to drink. Then, I was a student,” the actor said.

He added that some of the people involved in the alleged incident were still alive but declined to reveal their identities.

“The people involved are still alive; I don’t just want to mention names,” Solade stated.

The revelation has drawn attention to allegations surrounding staged miracles and the use of individuals to create dramatic scenes during purported healing sessions.

Solade, a veteran of the Nigerian movie industry, has built a successful career over the years and remains one of Nollywood’s recognisable actors.
