The APC forthcoming national convention has finally turned into an academic exercise for me, over the past 16 months, Nigerians have been on the subject of who becomes the next national chairman of the APC.

So many aspirants have thrown their hat in the ring and have worked assiduously towards becoming the favoured candidate to take over the leadership of the APC which I always refer to as the biggest political party in Africa.

We should never shy away from the fact that the APC represents about Seventy Per cent of how society lives which in turn affects our personal growth and development.

Personal growth and development is a transformational process, in which improvements are made in your physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, and financial state.

Many Nigerians keep on complaining about practically everything but have failed to realise that more Nigerians are making more money and living a better life than ever before.

So why is their case different, it is simply because they fail to realise that “Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit.”

In the end, the situations we’re experiencing as a society — things like wars, political stand-offs amongst nations, corporate wrongdoings from fraud and theft all the way down to just being unable to fulfil obligations to investors, religious scandal, violent crimes, high divorce rates, substance and other addictions, all forms of abuse, youth gang activity — are just elongations or manifestation of conditions we are experiencing as individuals.
