The police in Lagos State yesterday arraigned a 55-year-old man, Aminu Yunusa, before an Ebute-Metta magistrates’ court for trying to lure a teenage boy into having anal sex with him.

The police prosecutor told the court that the accused grabbed one Abubakar Musa and tried to force him into anal sex and that the boy raised alarm which led to his arrest by residents of Railway Compound, Ebute Metta, Lagos, where both the accused and the victim reside.

The accused however pleaded not guilty.

The Magistrate, Mrs O.A. Erinle, granted the accused bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum, but was sent to the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions, and adjourned the case to August 9, 2021.
