Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, expressed optimism regarding enhanced policing efforts.

The statement noted, “The Nigeria Police Force is excited to reveal the graduation of 10,000 recruit constables from different training schools throughout the country. This significant milestone reflects the Force’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its personnel and capacity in delivering effective policing services to the Nigerian public.”

The passing-out parade will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, across four Police Colleges and twelve Training Schools, with IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, serving as the reviewing officer. The newly graduated constables have undergone rigorous physical and mental training, equipping them to tackle the complex security challenges faced by the nation while upholding legal standards.

The IGP expressed confidence that these new officers will exhibit exceptional professionalism, integrity, and dedication to service, thus safeguarding the honor and reputation of the Police Force. With the addition of these new constables, the Force anticipates enhanced community engagement, improved crime response, and overall public safety.

After graduation, the constables will be assigned to various state commands, contributing to local policing initiatives and community safety efforts. This increase in personnel is expected to bolster existing police units and promote better relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
