Abacha’s Daughter Shows Love To Buni In Troubled Times (Photo)

Gumsu Abacha, one of the wives of Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, has shared a picture of the two of them together.

In the picture, the woman who described herself as the daughter of a four-star General, smiled happily as her hubby reciprocated same.

Gumsu, who has another picture of her husband as a profile photo of her Twitter page, posted the image of the two of them together, amid the leadership crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

On Monday, Governor Sani Bello of Niger presided over the affairs of the APC, a function which Buni has been performing since he was named Chairman of the Caretaker/ Convention Planning Committee of the ruling party two years ago.

Buni is currently abroad on medical grounds, but Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna had said he would never return as APC Chairman.

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State also said those supporting Buni are “Yahoo Yahoo governors”.

In 2021, Buni got married to Gumsu, whose father was Head of State between 1993 and 1998.
