Announcing the surge, Abubakar Salihu, Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, cited mounting operational expenses, exchange rate fluctuations, and inflation as driving factors.

The decision, reached after extensive deliberations with stakeholders, aims to uphold quality service delivery while ensuring transparency and accountability in fund utilization.

Salihu urged intending pilgrims to adhere strictly to regulations in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia for a seamless and successful pilgrimage experience.

Emphasizing compliance with commission protocols, he underscored the importance of continuous orientation and education for pilgrims, affirming his commitment to facilitating a smooth and memorable Hajj journey for all participants in the state.
