Adebayo Salami Shares Throwback Photo, Opens Up On Early Acting Journey
Veteran Nollywood actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, has reflected on his early days in theatre, noting that passion for the arts, rather than fame or financial gain, was the driving force behind their journey.
According to Ireporter Online, the acclaimed filmmaker shared a nostalgic throwback photo of himself alongside veteran actor Baba Wande on Instagram, where he revisited the humble beginnings of their acting career.
He explained that in those early days, their focus was purely on the love of theatre, while success and other rewards that followed were regarded as unexpected blessings.
“When we started theatre, our minds and hearts were more about passion for the arts. Every other goodness that came from it was just a divine bonus for us,” he was quoted as saying.
Salami’s reflection has since resonated with fans, highlighting the dedication and passion that shaped the foundation of his decades-long career in Nollywood.
