Davido publicly displayed his confidence in the national team by sharing a screenshot of his betting slip on his official Instagram page. In a post accompanying the image, the music star declared his intention to increase his stake should the Super Eagles advance to the final.

The wager reportedly covers a combination of outcomes, including both teams finding the net and a total of over 1.5 goals, with the odds placed at 6.97. If the predictions materialise, the singer stands to pocket approximately $348,274.07.

At prevailing exchange rates, the potential payout is estimated to be close to ₦500 million, highlighting the scale of the high-risk gamble and Davido’s belief in Nigeria’s chances.
