Akpabio, Governors & APC Chairman In High-Level Meeting With President Tinubu (Watch Video)

According to Ireporter Online, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, several state governors, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe, held a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja on Thursday.

Following the meeting, Professor Goshwe told reporters that discussions centered on preparations for the APC’s congresses and national convention. He emphasized the importance of alignment among party stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“It was a brief meeting to review preparations for the convention and congresses, and to ensure synergy among all arms of government. I believe we achieved the objectives we set out for,” Goshwe said.

The APC Chairman also revealed that President Tinubu offered full support and guidance during the meeting. “Mr. President is a very experienced politician, and his advice was remarkable, which is why we are here today,” he added.

Governors present included Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq of Kwara State, and Bassey Otu of Cross River State. Other attendees were Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and other senior APC leaders.
