Another Nigerian Lawmaker Is Dead (PHOTO)
Eric Dakogol, member of the Plateau State House of Assembly representing Qu’anpan North Constituency, has died.
According to the Daily Trust, the deceased died on Monday afternoon in Jos, the state capital.
According to a family member who confirmed the news to Daily Trust, the lawmaker became ill several weeks before his death.

While mourning the deceased, Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong said his death was a huge loss to his immediate family and the state at large, adding that he was a true democrat and representative of his people.
He said “Hon. Eric was selfless and committed to addressing challenges of his constituents both within and outside the Chambers of the House of Assembly and always sponsored and supported legislations that had direct impact on the lives of the citizens. “
