APC Opens Doors To All In Rivers State As LG Elections Approach

Victor Giadom, the national vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress (South South), has urged residents of Rivers State to consider joining the party, according to iReporter Online.

Giadom also expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in the forthcoming Local Government elections scheduled for August 30, according to iReporter Online.

He made the remarks at the APC campaign flag-off for the LG elections held at Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Rumuola, in Obio/Akpor LGA on Thursday.

Represented by former lawmaker Magnus Abe, Giadom urged party members and election candidates to serve as exemplary ambassadors of the APC.

He emphasized that the party is united and strong ahead of the polls, highlighting that “everybody in Rivers State is welcome to join the APC” and urging members to work together to deliver democratic dividends to the grassroots.

“The current chairmen and councillors of our party, you are now the faces of the Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots. You are the Tinubu that Rivers people will now look up to. We know that you will not disappoint us.

The election, looking at this crowd here, is a no contest. We are together and we will deliver,” Giadom stated, according to iReporter Online.
