APGA’s Edozie Njoku Warns Soludo: You Cannot Dictate Party Leadership
Heated leadership struggle within the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the party’s National Chairman, Edozie Njoku, has strongly asserted that Governor Charles Soludo cannot impose his will on the party.
Njoku expressed his concerns over Soludo’s attempts to dominate APGA, stating, “I have stooped a lot, I have gone to him, I have had meetings with him. The important thing is doing the right thing at all times and not thinking you can impose yourself on the party.”
Emphasizing the need for mutual respect within the party, Njoku urged Soludo to honor the existing party structure. He stressed that both parties must engage in constructive dialogue to prevent further disruptions within the party.
Njoku also addressed rumors suggesting that he intends to obstruct Soludo’s bid for a second term in 2025. He clarified that his stance is not rooted in personal animosity but in a commitment to upholding the principles and rules that govern APGA.
Currently, APGA is entangled in a leadership crisis, with both Sylvester Ezeokenwa and Njoku laying claim to the chairmanship. As the internal conflict continues, Njoku’s call for respect and adherence to the party’s guidelines highlights the ongoing struggle for control within APGA.
