Biodun Okeowo Slams Colleagues For Rushing To Announce Allwell Ademola’s Death

Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has criticized her colleagues and social media users for hastily sharing news about the death of fellow Yoruba actress Allwell Ademola.

Reports of Ademola’s alleged passing due to a heart attack began circulating online on Saturday night, prompting several Nollywood stars, including Damola Olatunji, Mr Latin, Faithia Williams, and Bidemi Kosoko, to post tributes on their social media accounts.

However, Okeowo expressed concern over how quickly the news was shared, pointing out that Ademola’s mother had not yet been informed of her daughter’s passing. Addressing the online activity, she wrote: “Those of you who are so quick to post bad news and put up pictures, hope you know she has a mother who is not aware yet.”

Okeowo described the rush to share death announcements as alarming and inconsiderate, highlighting that such actions often overlook the feelings of family members who may still be unaware. Her comments sparked conversations online about the need for greater sensitivity when reporting personal tragedies.
