[BREAKING] 2023 Elections: El-Rufai Loses LGA As Tinubu Trails Atiku In Kaduna
Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai failed to deliver his Local Government Area to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Presidential election.
Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), won in Zaria Local Government, where he and Uba Sani, the APC Governorship candidate in the March election, are from.

Atiku received 62,260 votes. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the APC received 41,432 votes, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) received 8,729 votes, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party received 3,634 votes.
The APC has won only one of the 16 local government elections so far, while the PDP has won nine and the Labour Party has won six.
