[BREAKING] 2023 Presidential Election: Final Result From 30 Local Governments In Osun
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), has been declared the winner of Saturday’s election in Osun State.
Atiku won 20 of the state’s 30 Local Government Areas (LGAs), leaving his rival Bola Tinubu with 10 LGAs.
According to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officer for the election, Folashade Ogunshola, out of the 1,954,800 registered voters, 759,362 were accredited for the elections.

She announced that Atiku received 354,366 votes, while Tinubu received 343,945 votes out of a total of 756,744 votes cast in the state.
Pater Obi of the Labour Party received 23,283 votes, while Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) received 713 votes.
There were 23,541 rejected votes out of a total of 733,203 valid votes.
All three Senatorial seats and nine House of Representatives seats in the state were won by PDP candidates.
Osun is one of the South-West States governed by the PDP. The other is Oyo.
