BREAKING: FULL LIST Of Tinubu’s Ministerial Nominees With States

President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial list was read on Thursday afternoon during the Senate session and it included four former governors among the nominees.

These ex-governors are Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna State, and Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State.

Other notable individuals on the list are Presidential spokesman Dele Alake, acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Abubakar Kyari, and Senior Advocate of Nigeria Lateef Fagbemi.

The long-awaited ministerial list was presented to the Senate by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila. The presentation took place at 01:19 pm and was received by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The list, dated July 27, 2023, and titled ‘Request For Confirmation Of Ministerial-Nominees,’ contained a total of 28 nominees.

Akpabio mentioned that additional nominations would be submitted to the Senate at a later date.

Tinubu’s initial nominations were somewhat eclipsed by the presence of seasoned politicians, comprising ex-governors, current and former members of the Senate and House of Representatives.

Among the nominees, 25% are women, and the remaining 75% are men. The women who made the list are Betta Edu, Doris Aniche Uzoka, Hannatu Musawa, Nkiru Onyeojiocha, Stella Okotete, Uju Kennedy Ohaneye, and Iman Suleiman Ibrahim.
