The circumstances surrounding his demise, which occurred on Saturday, February 10, remain unclear at the time of this report, with no official statement released by his family.
Confirming the news, former senator and founder of Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce, expressed deep sorrow over Arogbofa’s passing, highlighting his friend’s wisdom, integrity, and dedication to Nigeria.
Born on November 10, 1952, in Oka-Akoko, Ondo State, Arogbofa served in the military before assuming the role of Chief of Staff during Jonathan’s presidency from 2014 to 2015.
Educated at prestigious institutions such as Obafemi Awolowo University and the University of Ibadan, Arogbofa retired as a Brigadier General before venturing into the realm of politics.
His legacy as a committed patriot and his contributions to the nation will be fondly remembered as Nigeria mourns the loss of a distinguished figure.
