BREAKING: Tension In South East As Gunmen Kill Prominent Personality Eze

Unidentified gunmen have brutally murdered Eze James Nnamdi (Mirioma), the traditional ruler of Ezuhu Umuamadi Nguru Autonomous Community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

The tragic incident occurred on Monday afternoon at his residence in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.

The Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye, confirmed the unfortunate event in a statement, stating that the traditional ruler was shot multiple times during the invasion of his house by the gunmen.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, but unfortunately, he could not survive due to the severity of the gunshot wounds.

CP Mohammed Barde, the Imo State Commissioner of Police, has strongly condemned the incident and has assembled a high-powered team to investigate the case thoroughly. The aim is to ensure that the culprits responsible for this heinous act are apprehended and brought to justice in accordance with the law.
