The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, is set to hold a world press conference today to address the matter of President Bola Tinubu’s academic records, which were released by the Chicago State University.

This information was disclosed by one of his Presidential Campaign spokespersons, Dele Momodu, on X, formerly Twitter.

However, the exact time of the press conference was not specified by the PDP chieftain. As previously reported, Atiku had obtained Tinubu’s academic records from the CSU through a US court subpoena.

He argued that these records would be essential for his legal challenge against the President’s election in the February 25 presidential poll.

Atiku sought the documents to present in Nigerian courts as evidence supporting his claim that Tinubu had forged a certificate he purportedly acquired from CSU in 1979, which he then submitted to Nigeria’s electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for the 2023 presidential election.
