Atiku expressed his intentions in a congratulatory message to PDP governors whose election victories were affirmed by the Supreme Court on Friday.

In a statement released by his Media Office in Abuja, Atiku hailed the court’s decision as positive news for the people of Bauchi, Plateau, Cross River, and Zamfara states, emphasizing it as a triumph for constitutional democracy.

The PDP Presidential candidate also extended congratulations to Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), reiterating his belief that a united opposition front is crucial for fortifying democracy in Nigeria.

Quoting Atiku, the statement read, “I am as prepared as ever, to lead the charge, alongside all our leaders and Governors, for the good of our country.” He emphasized the importance of applauding instances where justice is perceived to have been significantly served.

Atiku highlighted the Supreme Court’s decision as a guarantee for the continuation of the high standards of good governance established by the PDP in the respective states.

He urged PDP governors Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, Barr. Caleb Muftwang of Plateau, and Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom to view their victories as an opportunity to consolidate and expand the scope of good governance.

With the electoral phase concluded, Atiku expressed confidence that the PDP could now concentrate on its role as the primary opposition party in the country, led by its capable governors alongside himself.
